Shannon Blomquist

Claims Manager- Bamboo Insurance Company

 

Shannon Blomquist is a Claims Manager at Bamboo Insurance Company.  She directs the TPA Team Leads and Claim Advocates, with whom she works closely to review payment authority and facilitate proper coverage analysis. She frequently creates and leads training classes, analyzes and develops processes, and constantly looks for opportunities to improve the overall claims process.

She facilitates the onboarding of all new Claims Advocates and continues to fine-tune her settlement skills through various successful negotiation agreements. Her customer service and intrapersonal skills have been her greatest assets in achieving her continued success. With over a decade of experience in Property Claims and exposure to large carriers, small carriers, and a start-up MGA, she has a wealth of knowledge of diverse business models.

 

She began her insurance career as a Property Claims Adjuster for Liberty Mutual. She became a trainer and was in the Leadership Program before assuming a large loss property adjuster role at Pacific Specialty Insurance. After a short time, she was promoted to Claims Manager and achieved great success with her team over several years before joining Bamboo in 2021.

 

She has an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in organizational leadership.
